Today was the last day of my in-class driving lessons, which is a pretty good feeling and featured such important lessons like “Run over squirrels” and “No, it’s not okay to play bumper-cars”. Lesson learned. Though, it is okay, as a last resort, to side-swipe parked cars if your brakes fail on a hill. Good to know to never to park your car in the street while on a hill.
Sadly, Grand Theft Auto (the game — or the act actually), was not part of the driving course, but I’ll see if my driving instructor will recommend it for the next recruits (the game, not the act).
Just up the street from my classes was the ever dangerous Canadian Tire where I decided to stop in to do some browsing. Thankfully, I didn’t buy too much in my “browsing” and actually got something I’ve been thinking about getting for a little while now. Since all the windows in my apartment are single pane, I bought a box of insulating film to cover the windows with.
I’m also planning on dropping by CIBC sometime soon to talk about getting a line of credit set up and paying that off (at a lower interest rate) instead of my student loans. With a lower interest rate, I should be able to pay it off faster and develop a better credit history with the bank. Which should be good when it comes time to get a car, house, or my own business. Any thoughts?
Almost feels like I have a semi-regular posting schedule going on now.

Damn it, you’re being so grownup and responsible this week! STOP IT!
good luck with your in-car lessons when those start
Yay for getting through the classroom stuff and learning it’s OK to squish squirrels
Poor little squirrels.
I love that it specifically mentioned squirrels (but not chipmunks oddly enough — I sense favoritism)
