mmm germs!

October 3rd, 2007

Sorry I’ve been so lacking in my posts lately, but it’s been a bit of a busy time here. Work has picked up and is gearing up for a crazy time like when I first started. As well, our Creative Director is no longer with us and we’re getting ready to move locations. While we love where we are, the other people in the building don’t love us. Not without $50 000 a month. And let me tell you, $50 000 buys a lot of love.

Friday night featured drinking and Saturday was full of nothing, with gatorade and bread making. On Sunday, James and I visited Cape Spear, which is a lovely little place about 20 minutes outside of town. He’s shooting a wedding on Thanksgiving weekend and I was showing him how to use my flash. Out of the many pictures I took, I managed to snag this one:

Jena, upon seeing it (sadly, I have yet to take a picture that people will love before they even see it — still working on that), mentioned that I should take my camera with me to Humber Valley, just to see what I can do. Very exciting. Once I’m done processing more of the pictures, I’ll post them.

Since then, I’ve been battling a bit of the flu. Hasn’t really gotten serious yet, but it did knock me for a lovely loop on Monday. So much so, they kicked me (and my germs) out of the office early. I’d like to think it was entirely for my well-being, but the threat of germs may have been more of a deciding factor. Especially with Amanda threatening to bring in a SARS mask the next day.
