So I’m in Newfoundland, and it’s December. This can only mean one thing: snow.
Now I know it’s not officially winter yet, but one does expect snow in December. And everyone here has warned me about the amount of snow St. John’s receives. This also goes hand in hand with the apparent lack of management of snow in St. John’s, where streets become disturbingly narrow and sidewalks and small animals disappear, never to be seen again. Except in Spring, when the animals return.
But the snow has met it’s match. I love it and crave it. Bring it on I say! Welcome to the Snow Watch where, well, I’ll watch for snow. That’s it.
Day One.
Despite a light dusting of snow this morning that was all but a memory by mid-afternoon, Snow Watch Day hasn’t produced any sizable results. So much so, here’s a picture of a seal I took today instead.
