for what it’s worth

February 3rd, 2008

I’ve had ads up on my blog for about two months now and in that time, I’ve managed to “earn” a whopping two cents. How this happened, I’m not too sure, but two cents it is.

Now you’re probably thinking that two cents isn’t a lot of money, and you’d be right. Even back in the 1950s, two cents was still only worth two cents.

There’s not much one can buy with two cents. And it gets even harder when your dad tells you not to spend it all in one place.

So, for a limited time, I’m offering my one cent opinion to the first two people that give me something to be opinionated about.

  1. There is no question in my mind that you must surely become opinionated about the lack of adequate funding for the snack Olympics. We need corporate sponsers to help our Canadian men as they guzzle multiple litres of milk in a race to finish two cartons before their competitors. As we all know, this is immediately followed by a cookie stacking show of ingenuity which they must then fill their stomachs with.
As you can see, corporate sponsorship would allow our men to cease using Generic cookies!

  2. Well then, for my one cent opinion, I think oreo’s are good.

And really, you’re getting what you pay for.

  3. lol, you would. ;)
