On a walk yesterday I remembered this little contraption that I’ve been meaning to get a picture of for several months now. It sits just behind City Hall but I really have no idea why they need that kind of jet engine exhaust on a small little shack. It seems a bit excessive to me.

So, as some of you may have heard, I’ve finally made it to the West coast of Newfoundland. It’s very foggy here, so it looks pretty much the same as the East coast, just with a few more hills. And that those hills have bigger hills on them too.

We’ve got our first iceberg of the year (that I know of at least). Apparently there’s a lot more on the way, but it’ll be hard for them to compete with this one. It really is as close as it looks.
