For those of you that are already sick of icebergs, too bad.
On Monday evening, after work, the sun finally broke out and we had some really nice weather. I wasn’t that happy with my previous photos so I made the trek out to Quidi Vidi again to see the iceberg again. Thankfully, my friend Karen got roped into coming along and saved me from having to walk out there. A bit of a hike all in itself.
Shortly after this photo, I got a little wet when a wave splashed me. Thankfully I wasn’t in much danger, but I did leave rather quickly. The things I do for a picture; Dave would be proud. Or just call me a wanker for being that close to waves. Probably both.
Part of the trip was hiking the trails for a couple hours on the other side of the Quidi Vidi Gut and that felt great.
All told, I took almost 200 photos and plenty of exercise. Can’t wait to do it all over again. Plans are already underway for another photo expedition with James and Pat (fellow photographers, James is a Canon guy like me, but Pat has gone the way of Nikon).
Yes. This is the trail sign, bolted to the ground. I pity the person that hits this with their bike.

Nice shots, icebergs look so much better in the sun hey.
I love that sign bolted to the rock, I can see some poor slob tripping over it now and cursing the parks people for making it that way.
