		<description>I think if people were put into the situation of having to know they would rememebr things they never knew they knew... and most plants you&#039;d see other mammals eat are not poisonous (though some can&#039;t be digested by humans, but you&#039;d only try a small amount and find that out).  Most poisonous things taste bad too.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Some humans do make it their business to observe these things, but as humans are social creatures, not everyone had to know this (usually women were the ones who knew plants)... I suppose one could say it may have slipped out of our collective subconscious memory... or maybe the reason you didn&#039;t plan to eat that plant was because it IS instinctive to ONLY eat things we know are safe (which is reasonable of us).  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I am rambling... but finding edible things is one of my hobbies.</description>
